Frequently Asked Questions
Does YHC do simple installations? YES! You Have Connections began with TV installations. We believe that there is no job to big, and no job to small. We are happy to accomadate anyone who hires us for our services.
Does YHC fix electronics. NO. We do not fix / repair electronics. We can troubleshoot an issue and possibly determine wheather or not it needs to be replaced. We leave fixing electronics to the specialists that do so.
Does YHC do service calls? And if so, what do you charge? YHC charges $85 per hour / minimum one hour, and $40 minutes each additional half hour. We have some of the lowest service call rates in the area for our profession.
Can you do upgrades to existing systems? YES! We can upgrade your system. YHC determines what needs to be upgraded with the request. It may be one device or several for your system to work correctly.
Do you charge for consultation? YES. Due to time and travel, we must charge for services rendered, and consultation is a professional service. Our rates are the same as a service call. $80 per hour / minimum one hour and $40 each additional half hour. These rates are for our local working area only. Consultation charges may change due to length of travel.
Does You Have Connections take check or credit card? Yes and No. YHC does not accept personal checks. We do accept cash and credit card. Since credit card payment may be difficult to take on the job, we offer our clients a client portal on the YHC web site. There you can create an account and make secure payments.
Do you hide the wires when installing? YES! We implement cable / wiring management and hide wiring within the walls. This will be determined through the consultation process.
Do you install home automation or security systems? We have been known to accommodate such requests yet, we stay focused on our expertise. In the future, we may branch out into other divisions. For now, we will remain focused on home theater, audio and networks. Never buy a steak from a restaraunt that is NOT a steak house!
